The Interreg project van Gras naar Gas aims to make the agricultural sector in the German-Dutch border region more sustainable. The focus is on utilising surplus grass for more efficient biogas production, strengthening circularity and reducing nitrogen and greenhouse gas emissions.

At the second network meeting, we would like to discuss the potential of biogas with stakeholders from the cross-border agricultural and energy industries, science and administration and address the regulatory challenges on both sides of the border. Plans for a further innovation project will also be presented.
