On Monday, July 12, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., the SmartHelm project consortium, the smart house, and the city of Oldenburg will host an interactive virtual discussion event titled "Freight Bike Logistics 2.0 - Project SmartHelm".
Increasing pollution and noise levels as well as inner-city traffic jams make it necessary to adopt new approaches to urban logistics. In this context, the cargo bike as a mode of transport is becoming increasingly important in order to serve the rising volume of e-commerce parcels.
What role can a smart bike helmet play in this? And what contribution can it make to improving the working conditions of courier drivers? Join our event online and find out. Various stakeholders from the project will present how a smart bike helmet can contribute to the solution, using the challenges and opportunities of Oldenburg's city logistics as an example.
This event offers an insight into practice-oriented research and development for interested citizens. Get involved and join the discussion!
We look forward to a varied program with contributions from: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tanja Schultz Cognitive Systems Lab, University of Bremen, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
