"The award is a great success for Oldenburg's energy system research and not only recognizes ENaQ as an outstanding project, but also underlines the importance of innovative district developments for a sustainable and climate-neutral future," says Prof. Dr. Sebastian Lehnhoff, OFFIS Chairman of the Board and Scientific Director of the joint project.
The conceptual approach of the project convinced the expert jury of the Open District Hub e.V. (ODH), a non-profit association that is committed to the success of the energy transition and the development of livable, climate-neutral cities and regions and sees sustainable neighborhoods as the key to success. OFFIS and embeteco accepted the ODH-Quartier Award in the Integration category on behalf of the association partners on November 29, 2023 in Munich.
A great recognition for the whole project team!
