The Oldenburg energy cluster OLEC e.V. strengthens its position in the field of education and research and welcomes the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences as its newest member.
The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is the largest and most powerful university for applied sciences in Lower Saxony. It pursues the goal of solving socially relevant problems through practice-oriented research in close dialogue with partners from the economic, social and political environment. The four main areas of research that shape its profile include the focus "Energy Systems, Economics and Law", in which the Faculties of Computer Science and Engineering, Economics and Social Sciences as well as the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology work together on an interdisciplinary basis.
We are pleased about the extension of the network's competences, especially in the field of engineering know-how, by the university and look forward to the cooperation in the OLEC working groups.
