The project "Stadt Land Lastenrad", a cooperation of the LogistikLotzsen of the Metropolregien Nordwest, the business development of the city of Oldenburg and of Bremen BIKE IT!
The focus is on the question which spaces should and can be occupied by load wheels.
While the sales figures for load bikes continue to rise strongly, the redistribution of parking space in the city has only just begun. New parking signs, wider parking spaces for hangers, theft-proof bicycle boxes: the beginnings have been made in many places, but as long as there are too few safe and nearby parking facilities, the load bike will lose its attractiveness and the potential for promoting a sustainable mobility turnaround will dwindle.
We will be talking about creative ideas and projects on how parking space distribution and design for the load bike can be comprehensively successful:
Tim Kaiser, Cycle Propaganda, Hamburg
Alec Hager, The Radvokaten - Office for the Mobility Turnaround, Vienna
James Thoem, Copenhagenize Design Co, Copenhagen
Jeroen Berends, Gemeente Groningen
Christoph Wöss, Safety Dock - INNOVAMETALL, Linz
Claudia Hille, University of Applied Sciences Erfurt
Sven Eckert, ADFC Bremen
Prof. Dr. Sven Hermann, Logistics Pilots for the Northwest Metropolitan Region
We are welcomed by Jens Joost-Krüger from Bremen BIKE IT! and Roland Hentschel from the Oldenburg Economic Development Agency.
