New Website for the ENaQ-Project

On around five four hectares in the new Fliegerhorst Oldenburg district, the pioneering "Helleheide" residential quarter is being built for people of all ages and income groups. With plenty of room for innovation and the neighborly community. The research project "Energetic Neighborhood Quarter Fliegerhorst Oldenburg (ENaQ)" is currently working on the housing and energy infrastructure and was able to reach some milestones in 2020, despite restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic:

The explosive ordnance probe was completed and the property was handed over to GSG Oldenburg for development., OFFIS is developing the digital platform QEMS a software for the control of energy systems and thus for the implementation of the energy concept in the neighborhood. and DdThe DLR Institute for Networked Energy Systems and KEHAG Energiehandel delivers with the energy simulation a comprehensive model calculation, which includes proposed solutions for an optimal climate-friendly and cost-efficient electricity and heat supply in the neighborhood. During the Helleheide Dialogue Days in October of this year, interested parties were able to take part in guided tours of the neighborhood and obtain information about the neighborhood and the research topics through various digital events.

In the future, the neighborhood is to combine many aspects of a smart city under the motto "diverse-community-inventive," such as a wide variety of digital community structures, sharing offers (e.g., with electromobility), smart health applications, and modern governance solutions. Suitable further research approaches for the living neighborhood are already being developed.
What will be possible in the neighborhood in the future can already be seen virtually: The new neighborhood website www.helleheide.de developed by Quantumfrog offers a virtual tour of the neighborhood and provides information about current project activities, and events and participation opportunities. In addition, a participation area is offered where citizens and interested parties can contribute ideas and projects to the neighborhood. After moving in, residents will also have access to the community portal, a central participation communication tool.

Get involved! An important component is the broadest possible participation of citizens and interested parties. The digital neighborhood workshop is intended to enable participation in project development in the neighborhood and the joint development of solutions. The workshop is organized by ARSU GmbH and GSG Oldenburg and can be found here: werkstatt.enaq-fliegerhorst.de. As soon as it is possible again, the digital formats will be supplemented again by analog events on site.
